• Discussion includes when to initiate event reports.
• Concrete steps for conducting and documenting event investigations for each type of common incident.
• When and how to initiate an extended investigation for possible abuse.
• How to perform an Abuse investigation.
• How to identify root cause for action planning. 
• What to document in the medical record and methods to ensure care plans are updated post event.
• How to track and trend events.
• How to determine if care outcome is possible abuse or neglect. 
• Discuss what is avoidable and unavoidable.
• Sample forms for events and logs.
